ABOUT
LANDÔ

Diogo Landô, better known as LANDÔ, is a Portuguese visual artist born in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. Where he lives and work.
Landô studied Art and Communication, as well as Design and Communication, at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP). Before fully dedicating himself to his vocation as an artist, he worked as a designer, art director, and photographer in various creative projects — experiences that continue to shape his visual language and conceptual approach.
As a visual artist, Landô is deeply connected to emotion. His works are emotionally charged compositions that explore the tension between classical references and modern aesthetics. By blending elements from art history with symbols of contemporary culture, he establishes a dialogue between past and present, often marked by irony and layered meaning.
Drawn to the vast possibilities of the digital medium, Landô combines analog and digital techniques — from collage and photo manipulation to painting and printing — to create unique or limited-edition pieces. Inspired by pop art, street art, and contemporary urban culture, his works embrace a bold visual identity while offering multiple layers of interpretation.
His artistic practice is driven by a continuous search for beauty and meaning — not only in visual perfection but also in raw, unfiltered emotion. Through the juxtaposition of elements from different eras and emotional registers, Landô challenges conventional perspectives and invites viewers to rediscover his artworks time and again, uncovering new narratives with each encounter.
